Tony Trono's "The Inside Haircutting System" is a concise, but solid,
tutorial reflecting his many years' experience. Packed with essential
concepts and techniques that most cosmetology schools (basic or
advanced) gloss over, or omit entirely, it's a good refresher for the
experienced cutter and a "must read" for the novice.

I am VERY glad that I bought this book! This book was written by a world-class professional who is good at explaining what he does! It was the something more - the extra professional touch that I was looking for for my haircutting - that I have not gotten anywhere else so far! Thank you so much Tony for sharing your knowledge with us!

The haircutting system described in this book made sense, but I found several steps confusing, with pictures that didn't seem to match the step being described. As a non-professional with no schooling in the art of a good haircut/style (just a life-long passion for it), I was longing for just such a book to help me give more than just decent haircuts to my family. I was left wishing this one had been a bit clearer in spots with a few more pictures pertaining to the actual steps. Still, the general idea of the system seems excellent.

This book can teach a lot about cutting hair. It teaches you how to layer and graduate hair. It also tells you how to cut bangs correctly. I have used this book to train myself how to cut my own hair and so far I have had nothing but compliments. I never used to trust myself to cut my hair, but this book gave me enough knowledge to feel comfortable doing it.

This is truly an amazing haircutting technique. Very well written and illustrated. I love how "The Inside Haircutting System" really supports all those flat and problem areas on the head. It will absolutely boost your clientele and change your salon business forever! Thank you, Tony for sharing your extensive knowledge and teaching by writing this great book.

I just graduated from beauty school, I bought this book during my school days, 'cause i needed extra help in haircutting, but this book wasn't helpful at all I don't find the words to express how dissapointed I am with the puchase of this book, it was a waste of money, is difficult to understand and the whole book explains how to cut only ONE style of haircut, i do recommend the vidal sassoon book, it has a lot of haircut styles, easy to understand, and very simple.

Was looking for a book with more advanced teaching on haircutting, and for the money basically was teaching one haircut. Would not even recommend for a novice
