Dr. Stuart Henry is Professor of Criminology & Sociology at Eastern Michigan University. He has published 14 books on aspects of crime, law and social control and is currently co-editor of The Critical Criminologist, and on the editorial board of Theoretical Criminology. This book provides comprehensive and realistic coverage of available jobs. The various voices and honest experiences of those in the field add to the insight needed to pursue the job of your choice (you may even change your mind!). I have found this book very useful when considering whether to apply for a position or not. Also, it is a great resource for anyone who teaches or advises students, it really let's them know the wide range of possibilities!
