This review is from: Inside the League: The Shocking Expose of How Terrorists, Nazis, and Latin American Death Squads Have Infiltrated the World Anti-Communist League (Hardcover)
This is a marvelous piece of investigative journalism that exposed the League for what it really was. The book is astonishingly still relevant given the continued presence of many of the mentioned crypto-fascists on the international scene. Those who bankrolled guerrillas in Ogaden didn't disappear with the end of the Cold War; they're still around, as are the "tecas" who killed leftists in Mexico.

4.0 out of 5 stars I am shocked that I am the first review of this excellent book, April 4, 2008

This review is from: Inside the League: The Shocking Expose of How Terrorists, Nazis, and Latin American Death Squads Have Infiltrated the World Anti-Communist League (Hardcover)
If you love reading books about history then this one is for you. It really goes into depth about the backing and funding of right wing terror in central and south america. It shows its orgins in Eastern Europe and Taiwan and how it had real effects south of the border. I would recommend Mr. Jon Lee Anderson's Che as well.
