I have used this as a study for both those who are just getting into the Bible and those who are more familiar with the Bible. There is some excellent trivia and the graphics and photos make this a worthwhile study. I like how they used modern day research to support the facts that are in the Bible.
It is written in such a way that it allows further depth for those who wish to do so. In my advanced Bible study group we take three hours on each Bible story. Whereas, with my confirmation class it provides enough information to tell the story, give the backgrounds, and then shows how modern day experiences supports the stories. Some of the stories are just plain mysteries. All of the stories require faith and all these stories help build the faith. |
