5.0 out of 5 stars A great book and a must read
This was the most insightful book I have ever read about the New Age movement. It is written honestly by a man who dove in head first searching for answers to life's deepest questions. This book allows you to follow the author on a quest for truth and gives the reader rare insight into what the New Age movement is all about and what lies behind it.

1.0 out of 5 stars A biased conclusion from a mioptic view of new age movement
The author apparently injured his mind's ability, by his own admission of misuse of drugs, resulting in him terrorizing himself by an episode with a formless psychic "blackness". Incapacitated by terror for a week, he turned to christianity to allay his fears. With a vigor often found in "new born" christians, he zealously attacks fringe elements...

5.0 out of 5 stars Life changing!!!!, January 26, 2006

This review is from: Inside the New Age Nightmare (Paperback)
I was a new ager -fully dedicated and ultra enthusiastic, so was my sister. This book was the ultimate eye opener because the author spoke of things that I was being taught, things that I enjoyed -I could relate to everything and ultimately his conclusions led me to ask God if what the author said was true -my whole life was changed after that and I will NEVER regret it.

I realized that what we want to believe is not the same as what is true. Now I know there is no such thing as "your own personal truth" as if truth changes depending on what you want to believe. There is truth and there are lies. The New Age is compelling and interesting when you don't have a clue but when you find the real truth, it doesn't change -neither does God.The Bible warns against New Age practices specifically but some choose not to believe it, to their extreme detriment.

My sister refused to read the book when I first gave it to her and begged her to read it. She thought it had closed my mind and leaving the New Age did not suit her at the time. One day she read it and has never been the same. She dumped her spirit guide that same day and asked God to help her. He did. She hadn't realized how she was living in fear until the fear was lifted from her along with her spirit guide who was nothing but a deceiver from hell in a nice coating. If you wonder what might be wrong about the New Age -read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear, concise, fascinating reading for EVERYONE!, June 5, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Inside the New Age Nightmare (Paperback)
Written by a genuine authority on the subject: its appeal and pitfalls thoroughly analyzed. Riveting reading. Most complete coverage of New Age practices insinuating itself in ALL areas of our lives. A real wake-up call for Christians especially and for those fascinated with the occult

4.0 out of 5 stars Truth, February 4, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Inside the New Age Nightmare (Paperback)
This book is a testament to what can happen to you if you dabble in the New Age Occult. It covers a broad spectrum of occultic practices, so it is a great resource. It explains what is really going on behind the UFO phenomena, and all the New Age Occultic practices. If you like crystal power, mind power and so forth, you might change your mind, after you read this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars pleasant read, but too dramatic..., March 19, 2004

Great book if you want to know a true story about rise and fall of someone deeply into New Age "spirituality".The author is very good on giving detailed account of total possesion. It is however an extreme case and at times sounds too depressing and dramatic.Fortunately not all of New Agers are so into their philosophy.

1.0 out of 5 stars A biased conclusion from a mioptic view of new age movement, April 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Inside the New Age Nightmare (Paperback)
The author apparently injured his mind's ability, by his own admission of misuse of drugs, resulting in him terrorizing himself by an episode with a formless psychic "blackness". Incapacitated by terror for a week, he turned to christianity to allay his fears. With a vigor often found in "new born" christians, he zealously attacks fringe elements of the new age movement portraying them as typical of all aspects of the movement, condemns them with simplistic enterpretations from carefully selected bibilical exerpts and judges the whole new age movement wanting. This reviewer wishs him psychic healing from his christian balm; but also wishs a less biased and simplistic judgement of the new age which doesn't focus on the bible as the only true guide to spiritual evolution. There are many other equally valid sources of truth.
