This is one of the best books I have ever read on looking at the core of why we behave the way we do. It was recommended to me by a friend nine years ago, and I still pick it up every now and then. I learned so much about the life I was creating by my desire to be loved, and never realized that only Jesus could change me from the inside out. Once my heart was filled with His love, then I could let Him go to work on me. Soon my outside behaviors changed, and my quality of life improved. Thank you, Dr. Crabb, for this great book! There are very few books that I have read and re-read that contintinue to challenge me like "Inside Out". It exposes us for who we really are, and what strategies, or excuses that we use to maintain our independence from God and others. It is a must read for those who really want to change from the inside out.
