The best album you have yet to hear...,
By Nicholas Chan (Southern California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Inside Out (Audio CD)
Second Sun began with a huge anthem "empire" being remixed by Paul van Dyk and included in his "Politics of Dancing" compilation.
Now for their first album, it is probably the best album you will ever have in your collection. The only drawback of this album is the track "My bed is burning", unless stoned vocals is one of your tastes of music. Other than that, the music is great. It ranges from house-trance-breakbeats-and even 80's with the track called Pop Muzik. Yes it is the track by M and is the huge highlight of this album. Being reworked and remixed, it consists of many effects-stutters on the vocals backed up with acid-fuzzy basses that creates an atmosphere of huge energy. Highly recommend this album, whether you are an electronic music enthusiast or don't have a clue what the word trance is, give this album a try. A great representation of what electronic dance music is.

This album and their EP are both amazing. I just hope they don't spend *too* much time on tour because I need them to get back to the studio for me!! heh..
