I have owned this cd single since 1999 but I never reviewed it since I was not familiar with Amazon or the whole online thing at that time and also I had not listened to this single in about 7 years since. Well, anyway, this song is a sweet ballad about being heart-broken yet the song is not overly sad. The song itself sound like it could have been done by Deborah Cox, another wonderful diva in the R&B/Dance arena.Masters At Work are trully MASTERS AT WORK here bringing a Jazzy uptempo vibe to the table while yet giving the arrangement a sense of "realness" versus overly electronic type sounds such as techno. Masters At Work tend to employ real musicians in their remixes and did a superb job with Jody Watley's "Off The Hook" which had a bit of Latin percussion. Anyway, for this mix it's Smooth Jazz meets the Old-School Disco type dance beat. The arrangement works well here while keeping the feel of the original intact.

THIS CD IS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. THE SONGS ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS MONICA AT HER BEST. 'ANGEL OF MINE', 'INSIDE', 'KEEP IT TO MYSELF' AND 'GONE BE FINE' ARE MY FAVOUTITES, BUT 'STREET SYMPHONY' TOPS THEM ALL! WAY TO GO MONICA!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING, GIRL!
