Todd's book offers a one-stop solution for a pretty complicated process! He simplifies job hunting and helps motivate you along the way. The book's biggest asset is how it combines so much material that would normally be found in many different places. I've read 5-10 different job hunting/career manuals and this is by far the best book not only for your money, but your time! JOB WELL DONE!

This book is a very quick read, just a couple of hours. It is mostly motivational with little of substance. Most of the book is simple common sense. His top **Insider** places to find job opportunities are the newspaper and Internet job sites. Wow, hadn't thought of those.

Skip this one and find something better.

this book is great as a motivational tool that can be read in a matter of hours but that's about as far as its success will take you. If you truly want to feel prepared for an interview and only want to spend money on one book I wouldn't recomend this one. Instead take a little more time and read The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Perfect Interview, so-so title when it comes to ego but much more informative for your unemployed buck.

I found this book to be a tremendous roadmap to finding my ideal job. This is the first job-hunting book I have seen that gives you the total package from getting motivated to writing resumes to answering the toughest interview questions.

Granted some of the information is basic, however I found that I wasn't doing some of the basic things this book suggested. I think this book far surpassed Parachute and some of the others I have read. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a new job.

I got a hold of 10 Insider Secrets to Job Hunting Success just as I was laid off from a corporate job. I loved the fact that you could get the information about an effective job hunt so easily! It's a no-nonsense book that gets right to the point. The layout of the book helps you to quickly access the things you want to find out about.
There really are some great "insider" tips included. I used Todd's advice about scheduling interviews, which made so much sense, but that I'd never thought about before. I actually got a job offer the very first time out! And Following Todd's advice about resumes got me callbacks on almost every resume I sent out on the internet-- quite a feat, when you consider how many hundreds of resumes companies get via e-mail. If you are job hunting, this is a must-read!

Fast and easy to read book that is very informative with alot of practical information that you can really use. Book is well written and covers all the important areas that you'll need to get the edge on your competition. Many hidden secrets and practical suggestions that will give you a big advantage over others in getting the job that you really want. The book is loaded with ideas and suggestions that really work. The book gives you insider information on how interviewers think and what they are looking for in a job candidate. Excellent book that is well worth your time and money. Best book I've read on getting a job.

This book delivers on its promise of tips and "secrets" for job hunters. Whether you are experience in finding jobs or just starting for the first time you will plenty of golden nuggets in each chapter. The book is also very concise and is easy to read. So, before buying a bunch of books on topics such as handling interview questions, or how to find job opportunities or how to market yourself, start with this book first (you may not need the rest!). Also, don't miss the final 7 bonus chapters which cover topics like "Selling Yourself after the Interview" and "The Best Times to Interview." I think some of the best ideas come from this section.
