Excellent! Best book for overview of commercial real estate!
After buying several commercial real estate books,I have to say that this one is head and shoulders above the rest. The author has an excellent way of explaining even complicated commercial real estate concepts. The book really helped me to get started on the right foot.

Book contains good information, but...
...I don't think calling on friends and family as a way of entering the business is the best strategy, albeit there's always more than one way to do anything. The book, however, is still a good resource and should be a part of one's personal library. The book does address many of the intracies of commercial real estate as well as some fundamentals. I definitely recommend...

I definitely recommend it as part of one's education program, but it should not be used as the ONLY reference. Use it with other books on commercial real estate to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of the business.

to the best commercial real estate book out there. This one is less than basic with very little meat. Most subjects are barely touched on with one or two pages. There is much better out there.
