Unbelievable!!
For first time travellers to Los Angeles this book gave a wonderful insight into the city and helped greatly with our planning. Gave heaps of information on all aspects of the city not just on the 'Hollywood' side. Would recomend it to anyone visiting LA.

wrong edition
I was very disappointed when I received this book and it was a very old edition. With travel guides, current is key. And this edition was more than ten years old, and thus basically useless.

Using this and the D.K. book on California helped me visualize my trip better. Try the Lonely Planets for more restaurant and hotel reviews though.
