Amazingly Helpful
This is simply the greatest informational book on T&T. Wonderful color pictures and descriptions. Spot-on!

Best as an information source...NOT a guide
All in all I was disappointed with this book. I purchased it as a guide around T&T, but it's not very useful for that. It's a great source of information about Trinidad, as far as the history and culture, but don't waste your money if you're looking for a solid guidebook. The best book by far was the Rough Guide to T&T. I spent 9 days there and the Rough Guide was...

All in all I was disappointed with this book. I purchased it as a guide around T&T, but it's not very useful for that. It's a great source of information about Trinidad, as far as the history and culture, but don't waste your money if you're looking for a solid guidebook. The best book by far was the Rough Guide to T&T. I spent 9 days there and the Rough Guide was literally my Bible, I didn't go anywhere without it. If you're planning a trip and need a solid guide book for where to stay, where to go, and how to get around, don't purchase the Insight Guide. If you're into colorful pictures and historical information, this is the book for you.

I bought 3 books before we went to Trinidad and they were all good in their own way. The trip was a surprise to my husband for our 22nd anniversary and definitely gave us lots of information and we felt prepared for anything we would find.
