If you can only purchase 1 book about Alaska-this is the one
I am taking a trip to Alaska this summer. I have picked up several books at the library but purchased this one at the recommendation of the travel outfitter I will be utilizing. It is comprenhensive. lots of pictures, less information
There's a picture on every page. I am taking a trip to Alaska this summer. I have picked up several books at the library but purchased this one at the recommendation of the travel outfitter I will be utilizing. It is comprenhensive. It covers Alaska history, the native culture, industry, locales, flora and fauna in lush detail with beautiful pictures. Maps are built into the covers and you can go into more specific details by region. I am enthralled with this book more so than the others I have seen so far.

I purchased this book to halp our hosts for a coming trip to Alaska. The book was well written and provided a comprehensive picture for new visitors to use to become acquainted with the whole state not just the areas we would be traveling through. It survived my purposes very well. Mac.
