I love Insight Guides and this was no exception. It would be easy to plan a trip.

I am a textile weaver and planning my trip for three weeks with two master weavers. The forth week I am traveling alone. I have traveled before on other countries. I found this book interesting, lots of pictures however the informatin was good after I figured out what I am doing. Everyone photographed looked like young couples with or without kids. As an older person, the book did not do much for me until I figured out my plan and was able to use some of the information to get more information. It was not helpful in understanding how the public transportation works as far as I am concerned since I will be mainly using it. The pictures are beautiful however I plan to take in the scenes when I get there and would have liked more information.

good read for the long plane ride, but left unused when we actually got there. We were looking for local secret spots, but that can all be found free on the internet with tripadvisor or other NZ sites.
