Book Description

“I’m not an ordinary child. I’m the daughter of Ian McRae – an assassin.
That alone is big. But a hit-man who can read minds and can make you do and forget things by the touch of his hand? The word ordinary will never apply. Not in a million years.
Especially, since I have the same ability.”

In general, Elle’s main concern is to keep her secret life a secret. Act normal. Live as normal. Blend in.
But when a boy saves her from a near mishap, Elle has no idea that this boy will unravel her, she has no idea that she will make decisions that are unheard of, she has no idea that she will be pulled in the middle of a dangerous hunt – between her own father and the boy who saved her.

"M. Rees is a wonderful storyteller. Insight is appealing to any reader who loves action, drama, and fiction peppered with sarcasm and humor. Her use of analogy and symbolism is tasteful, elegant, and timely. Rees masterfully describes the scenery in a way that almost makes you feel like you've been there before. The many unpredictable twists and turns that the story takes draw you in and keep you on your toes. This is one of those books that once you start reading it, you just won't want to put it down." - ReadersFavorite.com

4.0 out of 5 stars Original plot and fast paced February 25, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I enjoyed reading this book - it is not the usual kind of book I would go for but it had an original plot, was fast paced, and full of intrigue and mystery.

Elle's character was refreshing and different and the twists and turns of the story kept me guessing until the last page!

Good story. Lots of errors but if you can get say them it's a good read. Would've liked to see more development of Lennox and Elle's relationship.
