I've been using this for about 2 years now and still love it. I have over a dozen comperable CD's and this one is still my favorite. I do like Hemisync Mind Food better for falling asleep, but for waking meditation nothing leaves me feeling more clear, alert, and happy than Insight.

Update June 2008: I still use and enjoy this program, haven't found anything better to date!

Update May 2010: Still a keeper, have some I like better but I do still listen to this beautiful program occasionally.

If you already have experience with meditation, this cd will be a very helpful addition to your practice. If you have no experience, this cd will allow you to discover the many benefits of what meditation has to offer. Even if you are not into the idea of meditation, the insight program will help you find a new level of relaxation. Read the directions, follow the advice, and bring an open mind. After the first week I have already noticed improved focus and a stronger sense of peace during meditation as well as in other areas of my life. You have the option of short 24 minute sessions whenever you find time, or expanding it to the length of your choice. You will be amazed after your first time how you feel when the last drop of rain splashes in your head phones. Your definition of calm will completely change for you. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who wishes to relieve stress, expand their awareness, or just find a feeling of peace during the course of a busy day.

I purchased this product 7 months ago and listened to it religiously for 6 months solid and....nothing! I made a point of listening every day at the same time and played all 3 tracks most of the time, but never fewer than 2 tracks. I have derived absolutely no benefit whatever from listening to Insight,despite the inflated claims that have been made about this audio CD. Frankly it is a complete waste of time and money as it DOES NOT deliver on the claims made about it. I hate to see people ripped off and that is exactly what you will be if you make the big mistake of purchasing this product. The only reason I have given a rating of one star is because there was no zero option available.

I selected this binaural beats CD after much research of the plethora of products of this type available .. and a commendation from Dr. Mercola .
Unlike many other systems ... this is all there is ... there are no upgrades .. multi-level systems ... due to the nature of the sound processing ... Unlike with say Holosync .. or Hemisync with their advanced levels relying on presenting the beats on lower frequency carrier waves ( lower for each level ) .. the claim is that many carrier frequencies are presented at once ... in a carefully harmonically structured way ... I can't comment from hearing them ( as they're at lower level than the rather pleasant rain sound ) .. but I do find them deceptively easy to slip into ...
As I prefer the concept of my mind finding it's natural level of communication with the subconscious ( the improvement of which is the aim of most of these 'beat' recordings ) ... but having deeper means available if it prefers , more personal than taking some-ones' word that I need to start 'Here' .. and buy more if I want to get to 'There' ...
The results are a lovely relaxing time while experiencing them ... getting some clues as to what is 'really' on your ( subconscious ) mind .. and claimed long term rewiring of your neurology to make such communication more consciously accessible .. about which I can't comment having only used them for a few weeks ...
On the basis of providing a relaxing oasis in a world of stress ... I can thoroughly commend this CD .

I brought this product two days back and I really was disappointed when I played the CD.
The CD has three tracks:
Track 1: Journey 24:04 min
Track 1: Exploration 24:04 min
Track 3: Insight 24:04 min
The entire above tracks has almost the same rainfall sound, for me I haven't found it helpful nor achieve any of the below points.
1) Achieve profound states of deep meditation and relaxation; 2) Significantly reduce stress and anxiety; 3) Improve your sleep and increase energy and vitality; 4) Awaken your potential for long-term personal growth; 5) Dramatically increase your self-awareness; 6) Take your inspiration and motivation to new levels; 7) Experience expanded states of consciousness; 8) Develop your intuition and expand your personal insight; 9) Reach deep into your subconscious mind for life solutions.
