For the money, it's hard to find a better value for a 19 inch LCD. This TV has a QAM tuner, clear picture, easy to navigate menu and decent audio quality. Well recommended. Also comes with a two year warranty.

I bought this after looking at 20 different TV sets for my desk, this was the best value on the shelf at bestbuy at the time, I'm quite happy with this TV, although I suggest watching it in low light or no light as it is an LCD without the LED technology it doesn't have the brightness for well lit rooms especially for DVD movies, but it does have an excellent picture especially for the price paid for it

This TV does not have fully-functioning color capabilities! There is no true red, so all red, pink, and orange hues appear as a strange melon-orange color. There does not appear to be any yellow, so there is no green either (although it is curious that there is the orange color; I am not sure how that happens). The best adjustment gives a sepia picture with some blue and some of the melon-orange tones. At worst, the entire picture is blue or the entire picture is melon-orange. If this constitutes "color" in your mind, then this is the TV set for you, but this hardly qualifies as "color" to me. Aside from the lack of the full spectrum of color, the TV works very well.

I have no way of knowing if this one particular TV set is flawed/damaged, or if the Insignia 19" model tends to have inferior color (this purchase was described as pre-owned but hardly ever used). In defense of the Insignia brand, however, my larger Insignia TV (which was purchased new) has VERY GOOD color.

Thought Insignia was a good brand, but it let me down. The color is faded, especially when you play dvd's on it! I can see why it was so affordable, it's like the saying goes, ya get what you pay for. Just for advise, be sure to check out the display ones in the store before buying online.
