A perfect rock album, from start to finish. I wish every rock album released could be half as good as Miggs "Insomnia"

For a long time this album has been one of my favorites; I thought it was about time I let more people know. This is one of those albums you're glad you have on CD, otherwise you'd have burned out the tape or vinyl. You'll end up learning all of the lyrics and become addicted.

This CD is worth every penny you spend on it.

Close your eyes, sit back in a darkened room and listen to the amazing lyrical power of the album, "Insomnia." Believe me it will keep you awake and you will keep coming back for more wanting to hear each song again and again. Who would have thought that a band called Miggs could pull off a second album with such lyrical expression in each number. Don Miggs' staying power as a singer and songwriter is definitely evident in this album.

His thoughts and cadence in the music will have you humming along and trying to match his musical expression as he craftily weaves his way through each number. This album is a must buy for any true connoisser of the pop/rock venue. Every song is fantastic and it is hard to chose just one standout but, "I Believe," my favorite song of the album, should be played in every sports venue as the anthem. I even has the song as my ringtone on my phone.

Everyone needs to add Miggs to their repetoire of great listening music that you want to hear again and again. The sounds of the pop/rock band make the vocals of Miggs even more captivating. This album has it all.

It's only a matter of time until this band hits the big time. What a great album!

I really enjoyed listening to this CD....the lyrics are so passionate and purposeful and there is a common thread throughout the CD. And some of the songs really have a U2 quality about them.

I think we will be hearing a lot from this band.

Miggs is a just a great band with an amazing live show. This CD is unbelieveable. On this CD...you wont skip a single song. Perfect and I Believe are my favorites. They are not my top favorite band, but these guys jumped up to my 3rd fav band with Insomnia(which kicks the crap out of the older one) and better than some of the new stuff I am hearing just released from bands like Yellow Card--ok that's another review!!!

I heard about Miggs on Myspace. Got this album. Miggs has captured the market with their own special brand of alt RAWK come indy based music, skillfully overlayed with Don Miggs voice; a voice which manages to be powerfully strong, but yet vulnerable, and not too shiny. The songs deal with life, love and plain casualty in modern retionships. Yeah, many bands do the same but not with quite the same passion. Insomnia is lyrically dynamic, emotionally stirring and an audible addiction. Its in my special collection. I hope to see them live!

I don't agree with the 2 different types of reviews I've read of this CD by the Miggs.

Some say the Miggs don't have it,some say they do
argument?
It's neither,to me they sound like a band still developing, searching for a catchy song and a lot of bands I've heard on the college circuit start out this way and end up making it if they get even 1 hit song.
So, how's the Cd? It's okay, it's a bit softy and Poppy sounding, and I don't know if there's a hit song per say on this one but overall I've heard way worse bands selling their product on this site.
I think mostly girls would like this record because it's not heavy at all and the lyrics are nice..

I discovered Miggs on the Accident Hash podcast and I have been hooked ever since. Their songs are very rich musically and the vocals are very addicting. This album is well produced, sounding clear and rich but not overly processed. Sure, Insomnia could be considered a bit "generic" or "pop" sounding in some respects, but if you're looking for fun music to rock out to, the Miggs deliver!

We discovered Miggs by accident by being in Barnes and Noble bookstore one evening where they was this great live music being played. We bought the Anyway CD and have since been their big fans.

The Imsomnia CD is a tremendous improvement over Anyway. And mind you, Anyway was damn good too. Every song gradually builds into you and with every repeated listening , you end up humming and singing the lyrics. What stands out is the depth of their lyrics and the beautiful way in which the music supports it, rather than overshadowing it. The guitar and drumming work is top class.

My favourites are "Suddenly Wonderful", "Into and Over You" and "Choices". Great songs. I couldnt get the Insomnia CD in India and when I managed to make a business trip recently, I grabbed a copy of Imsomnia.

Buy this CD -- you will love it.

this cd is absolutly amazing! i was reaching for another cd and accidently grabbed this album and being rushed through the store didnt look and bought the cd in a stack of others. got it home and took a listen and i feel in love with the album!

ive had this cd for a few months and still listen to it almost every single day! i would definetly recommend you buy a copy!
