5.0 out of 5 stars Sherlock
This includes two games. One is a true mystery (collect clues ie. information and solve the crime). The other is a game you can play over and over. It is a logic, process of elimination game. Once you learn how to read the clues, it can be a lot of fun and challenging for the brain. It is the same (or almost) as SHERLOCK. Enjoy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as I had expected.
I was looking forward to getting this game but was dissappointed. It doesn't take too much thinking and at times can be monotonous. Not exciting at all and not a good challenge.

I first fell in love with Betrapped online; it was like glorified Minesweeper and clue rolled into one. Several years later I remembered how much I liked Betrapped and went in search of a website that could offer me some gametime. I found that it wasn't really "in" anymore so I went looking on Amazon. I found this double pack and bought it for myself for Christmas.
I love these two games; I like the puzzle aspect of Inspector Parker and the Clue/Minsweeper aspect of Betrapped. These are fun games to play when I have time to kill or when I need (or desperately need) to veg out.

The only flaw I can see is in the program design of Betrapped: It only seems to have one ending - the same two characters commit the murder for the same reason, the clues are always exactly the same without tweaking. I'm not a professional (or personal) game designer so I'm not quite sure if what I'm asking is too much but it seems to me that that would make the game fun on many different occasions. I may be wrong (I haven't played over and over and over and over yet) and if I am I will come back and modify this review. If anyone else has experienced a different ending than the maid and her sister (Countess) than post a review for others.

Inspector Parker and BeTrapped! have always been two of my favorite logic games. Inspector Parker is similar to the written logic puzzlers: if this, then that. BeTrapped! is similar to Microsoft's Minesweeper. Both are wrapped in mystery detecting story lines that I find entertaining. Once you've played through the story version, both can be played in puzzle mode where you get to select the level of play, which for both games ranges from easy to difficult (or "deadly" in the case of BeTrapped!). Both games are so addictive, I can spend hours playing one or the other and, frequently, go back and forth between them. This CD is definitely worth the money for anyone who loves to exercise their brain in fun, engaging games. I purchased from Knights Discount...an awesome dealer. Fast, reliable shipping and the product is new, unopened and undamaged in any way. You can't go wrong with either the game or this dealer.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Loved It : ), March 12, 2009

I don't know why they gave this game a bad review I really liked it. It's not a hidden object game its an inspector game. Like Clue, you have to find who was the murderer, who got murdered, with what object. The second game it fun also a little different from all the other games I haven't got to the end yet but I am stoked to see what happens. This is a great game with a great price.
