5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Life Story. June 30, 2013
Verified Purchase
Biography's are my favourite books, I love to take a peek into other's lives that are so completely different to mine.

Albert Einstein, as you'd assume, was a fascinating person. He led a very humble life and at the age of 26 he wowed the world with his theory of relativity and the famous E=MC2 equation. Eventually, as his fame spread, so did the interest from the Nazi's and he was forced to flee to America.
We've all heard of Einstein, but do any of us know much about him? I've learned some amazing facts whilst reading this inspirational book about a fascinating man.

1.0 out of 5 stars Mistakes extremely distracting July 22, 2013
Verified Purchase
This book is filled with errors in grammar and spelling. The book is mercifully brief, but had the errors been cleaned up, I would have wanted to know more about Einstein's life. It is a good summary (I could have given it 1.5 stars if that were an option), but it comes across more like an encyclopedia article than a biography.

I was surprised to find that the book ended at the 65% mark, since the information about Einstein is followed by a preview of a biography of the Dalai Lama, links to other books, and an invitation to an email subscription. My experience with Einstein's description convinced me to skip the preview about the Dalai Lama.

I downloaded this book while it was free, and I am grateful I didn't lose anything other than my time reading it. I would not recommend it for free, much less for the list price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Albert Einstein October 3, 2013

Anthony Taylor does an excellent job explaining about the life of Albert Einstein. I was captivated with the amount of information and content that was packed into this book. I learned that Albert Einstein was actually not an Atheist. In fact, he was a deist, believing that God exists but not in a personal way with humans. I found that to be interesting because I figure that most scientists are Atheists. Great read! I highly recommend this.

It was a very brief history, but really very enjoyable. If anything, I wish it went into more detail, I would have liked to read more about his private life/

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time
Poor grammar and syntax didn't hide the lack of any unique or special insight. Wikipedia has no competition here, for sure.

1.0 out of 5 stars Interesting but poorly written
It is disappointing that the tense used throughout the story shifts from present to past. It makes it difficult to read.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is a joke!
Don't waste your time or money. It has bad spelling, sentence construction and it looks like someone typed it out on an old typewriter!! Terrible!
