The stories deal with life's problems and their resolution. From the death of a beloved family member to the isolation, loneliness, and sometimes harassment of attending a new school, Horan uses parable-like stories to help readers solve the everyday issues that trouble their young lives. We are all, at times, faced with unpleasant or uncomfortable situations. Horan understands this and uses her experience working with teens and preteens to guide them gently and lovingly with her tender tales. "Inspirational Fun Stories and Articles," is a book we parents and grandparents will also enjoy and eagerly gift to those we love. Subtle lessons abound in these tales; yet. each story is engaging and keeps readers turning pages to the very end. A marvelous book for children and adults with truly fun stories. Now, I see why the title is - "Inspirational Fun Stories and Articles." Two of my favorite stories are, "Is Salt Important?" and "Lisa's Great Dinner Party." This book would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys reading. Sunday School teachers would benefit from this book because of the moral values and Christian teachings. As usual, Evelyn Horan treats us with yet another delightful book!

Evelyn Horan is known to be an outstanding author of books for children and young adults. Each of her books deal with life issues faced by children of all ages and are morally edifying. "Inspirational Fun Stories and Articles" is proof positive of her unique ability to teach children, at their individual level, how to confront and resolve problems in their world. Filled with biblical references and passages, told with sensitivity and sometimes humor, the stories and articles in this anthology are heart-warming and entertaining. Definitely a must-read for young and old alike. Highly recommended.
