As a parent I really appreciated this book and all the life-lessons it taught through the true stories of children. This reprinted book is a classic that I will cherish and hope to pass down to my kids one day. I intend to read these stories to my children and show them that even as a child you can have a personal and strong relationship with God, and God can do great things through you. It is a very well written and heartfelt book. I'm glad I read it.

Tuchy Palmieri has reprinted such a wonderful book! Originally written by Olive M. Jones many generations ago, it is filled with heartwarming and inspiring stories of children experiencing the grace of God. Everyone could learn a lot from the testimonies of these children. Many of them humbled themselves, listened to God's calling, let God control their lives, and so much more. Truly a great book to share with your children and inspire them to reach out to God.

"and [Jesus] said 'I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 18:3-4 (NIV)

If you believe in Jesus Christ and would like to show your child about Jesus Christ and HIS life, this would be a perfect book to choose. It has lot of stories with different illustrations depicting the life and the way of christian life which the Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF lived in. It is a book where you can turn a page and read it to your child to inspire him or her to get closer to God and know what a christian faith walk is. Amazingly great.

This book is so good and inspired as it says in the title, how children can learn about Jesus Christ. It gives lot of interesting stories for any parent can read to a child before sleep in the night or after noon times. This has been approached differently where an unique touch has been given to the stories. It is easier for the kids to understand and inspire them to know about the LORD more and more in their lives. Great job.

Inspired Children is a delightful collection of stories and advice that any Christian parent should appreciate.
This manuscript contains true stories of several children, and tells of how Jesus can be seen working in their lives.
This book is a good challenge to live with `childlike faith'.
I would recommend this book to parents who want to bring their children up in the Lord, or anyone looking for inspiration.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Although this book shows signs of being written in a different era and generation, the stories and morals are as applicable today as they were when it was first published, perhaps even more applicable today. As the mother of two young boys, I was extraordinarily encouraged by the positive reactions of little boys to "quiet times" and how even young children are able to understand spiritual principles. Training up children is difficult, thankless work and it was uplifting to read about small success stories that not many people noticed at the time, but that are still being celebrated within these pages even after the children in them have grown up and moved away. Sometimes it is nice to have short simple reminders of God's presence and love throughout our lives and our children's lives even when we aren't looking for them. Every parent should read this book and consider how best they can help their child not just learn about who Christ is, but have a real relationship with Him as these children did.

Tuchy Palmeiri did it again by finding this lost gem of a book to share with a new generation of parents and care givers. As a Christian parent and former educator, I really enjoyed this read and was enveloped by the warm language tempered with firm admonitions.

This book opens with an auto-biography of the original author, Olive Jones. She shares how, after years of achieving great success in rehabilitating young men through education, she realized there was something more these boys needed - a moral compass, or ethical/religious training. Solely for the purpose of helping her "boys," she accepts an invitation from a local church organization to help them with marketing issues. One small question leads her to start her own journey back to spirituality and God.

This is followed by several examples of how children work out their faith for themselves, demonstrating their "spiritual sensitivity," despite their young age.

Ultimately, even though this book was written decades ago, I feel so encouraged in how I ought to teach my daughters about prayer and God's character. There is no condemnation from the author, only the call to make ourselves right with God that we might easily and naturally show our children how to be right with him as well.
