2013 Nautilus Books for a Better World Silver winner as Best Inner Prosperity / Right Livelihood Book

“Wild success is a function of deliberate, alive choices. Through her own walk through doubts and struggles, Tama Kieves shows you how to stay ‘inspired and unstoppable’ in every circumstance you confront in business, living your vision, and life. If you want to stay on fire as you do your greatest work in the world, read this book now.”  —Jack Canfield, bestselling coauthor of Chicken Soup for the Soul and The Success Principles

"Finally, success tips that work. Success principles litter the self-help sections of bookstores and fill up podcasts and magazine articles. But I haven’t read something quite so refreshing as Tama Kieves’s new book, Inspired & Unstoppable: Wildly Succeeding in Your Life’s Work! in a long time."--Victoria Pynchon,  Forbes.com

“A revelatory book that brilliantly applies inspiration, practicality, and humor to identifying and living your highest potential. You won’t be able to stop reading this invaluable guide to inner and outer success in your creative expression.” —Michael Bernard Beckwith, author of Spiritual Liberation: Fulfilling Your Soul’s Potential

“This book is like having your own wonderful success coach. Inspired & Unstoppable will show you how to stay true to your personal and professional vision—no matter what—and get you where you dream to be. This is a soulful and practical book, full of encouragement and guidance that will save you years of time and pain. You’re going to want to read this often.” — Marci Shimoff, New York Times–bestselling author of Happy for No Reason and Love for No Reason

“When you’ve got a burning mission inside you, you need to know how to stay inspired and on track. Tama Kieves shows you how to become a success warrior for your life’s work. Life is short. The world needs your voice. Read this wonderful book.” —Kris Carr, New York Times–bestselling author and wellness warrior

“Tama Kieves is one of the soul-tenders, a savvy and companionable guide to honoring what she calls the gravitational pull of passion and integrity within each of us, and the power of saying Yes! to our lives. In her compelling new book, she brings great honesty and compassion to the hard human work of bringing our callings to life, and a vigorous torch to help illuminate the journey.” —Gregg Levoy, author of Callings: Finding and Following an Authentic Life

“The words ‘inspired and unstoppable’ are far more than the title of this book; they are literally how you will feel as you are reading it. Tama Kieves is a brilliant teacher. The depth of her knowledge and wisdom is equaled only by her authenticity, humor, and candor. You will find yourself lifted, motivated, and cared for by her words. If you are seeking a deeper understanding of your life’s purpose and how to actualize it, consider this book your road map.” —Dennis Merritt Jones, author of The Art of Uncertainty

I am feeling truly inspired and unstoppable right now. That is very much a recent addition to my feelings trinket box; an addition that was fired up by Tama Kieves' latest book, Inspired & Unstoppable - Wildly Succeeding in Your Life's Work!

Kieves is the bestselling author of This Time I Dance!, which you may have come across.

Somewhat deliciously, Inspired & Unstoppable is almost as if you are having a conversation with Kieves: she writes so beautifully and with such sincerity, sharing her story and gifting you with simple - yet profoundly effective - practices, the Portals Back To Inspired Living.

Now, I have no intention of giving away too much of what is shared in this title BUT I really do think it is a book that pretty much ANY person who wants to feel inspired and unstoppable should read. Working with many entrepreneurs who feel as if it is their birthright to stay poor, lacking in abundance and flow, whilst they struggle along doing their life's work, I feel sure that Kieves' latest title will gently tease and guide people, in her own inimitable way, to help you show up and take positive, powerful steps to wildly succeed and truly take on the emotional energy charge to help make you feel Inspired & Unstoppable.

Here are a few of my favourite Inspired Successims from the book:
* Mavericks are misfits. But of course, what makes you different can also make you exceptional
* It's not you who empowers the gift. It's the gift that empowers you
* You have a power in you that is not of this world. That power will awaken the creativity and resourcefulness of other people ... people who can get things done. You will have your people
* Can you really know what the perfect timeline is for forging one extraordinary life?

I read Inspired & Unstoppable: Wildly Succeeding in Your Life's Work!e a few days ago and was going to write a review for Amazon right then. But first I read the reviews already posted, and I was particularly struck by the sole negative review (at the time) that said: This entire 317 page book can be boiled down to one sentence on page 282, "You are meant to succeed in the work you love."

Yes, the person who said that is correct. The book is tightly focused on a single theme. In fact, from time to time I'd check which chapter I was on because the book was so much of a single piece.

But I've decided to go ahead and award the book five stars anyway and to explain why right here.

Tama is addressing artists (all arts, not just visual arts), personal coaches, self-employed service providers and entrepreneurs, and you have to understand the context in which she writes. Out in the marketplace, the experts addressing this audience are highly prescriptive in their recommendations. Most experts offer their advice in the form of a very structured "signature program," often consisting of multiple formats (e.g., ebooks, MP3s, videos, workbooks) and sometimes supplemented with master-mind groups, one-on-one coaching and even live events.

In other word, darn pricey packages.

People invest in these. And yes, the industry calls it "investing" rather than "buying" because of the considerable expense.

The investors start on the program with good intentions but find they can't stay on schedule. Their Visa payment kicks in every month regardless.

The reasons for failure vary.

I found this book on a visit to the Tattered Cover, in downtown Denver. I read the dust jacket and told my husband, "This book is coming home with us." Reading it as we drove across Nebraska on our way home to South Dakota, I marveled at how it seemed to be describing me - over and over.
I've already purchased another copy (from Amazon.com) for a friend and plan to re-read it myself. I'll probably read it several times.
I'm an author of a debut novel and not being an extrovert, have struggled with book signings and other "putting myself out there" exercises so necessary to build readership. It isn't that I don't like people, I am just very shy. However, reading this book changed my perspective entirely. Now, I look forward to book signings, radio interviews, book festivals, et al.
This book showed me how to share my passion for what I love instead of "selling myself." It's an amazingly freeing experience which has and will continue (I'm certain) to change my life. I will be forever grateful for this book.
It is written with great style and humor. Many times I laughed out loud at the way Ms. Kieves describes situations. She has a fantastic command of words and how to arrange them most effectively.
In summary, I'd have to say, Inspired & Unstoppable is probably the most effective marketing tool I've ever had the good fortune to lay my hands on.

With extraordinary frankness, Tama's latest book, Inspired and Unstoppable, lifts the curtain on the perfect march of success peddled by so many. Her rare, unvarnished truth read mixes personal stories, wisdom and spot on, you can't make it up humor that leaves you, the reader, breathless and laughing aloud while at the same time, even more determined to keep moving forward. Inspired and Unstoppable is the real deal roller coaster of success. Tama invites you to join her in the front seat holding on for dear life - experiencing the plummets, as well as the soaring heights and unexpected turns along with way.

Tama's the wise, loving, compassionate, hilarious sister we all wish had been our partner on the journey from day one. She's your coach, your truth-teller, your encourager and your spiritual kick in the pants advisor. She's been there, walked through the fire of creation and her soul baring journey allows you to reflect and accept the imperfections in your own, while giving you the sisterly shove you need to barrel forward in your time and in your way. Her words give you permission to redefine success as larger than money. If you've ever considered having your own business, listening to your calling whether it's internal to an organization or blazing your own path of brilliance or are smack dab in the middle of making the change, Tama's words will bless you and keep you moving forward with a newly defined compass for success.
