5.0 out of 5 stars Instructions!, November 23, 2008
This review is from: Insta-Cling Windshield Strip Professional Tint Film (Automotive)
The product is a long strip of darkened plastic rolled in paper. The goal is to get it to stick to the inside of the front window. The instructions to accomplish the task are clear and direct. The problem, as the other two gentlemen noted, is getting the strip to fit exactly. Patience counts but it works. Using the paper the plastic is rolled in as a template is an excellent idea.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good and works well, September 5, 2008
This review is from: Insta-Cling Windshield Strip Professional Tint Film (Automotive)
This is pretty nice material BUT, you need to do it without being in a hurry. I used the paper backing, not the tint itself to serve as the windshield template. Use a spray water bottle with one drop of dish soap. One more thing, cover the dashboard with a large beach towel. Good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, Be Patient, August 11, 2009

I bought the insta-cling because I did not want to pay $30.00 at my local tint shop. I measured the width of my windshield using the paper backing, then I cut the film with those dimensions. I got a spray bottle, but one drop of dish soap in it. I then sprayed my windshield, and applied the tint. I should have gone easier on the soap and water because the tint has a hard time sticking if you use to much. Overall Good Product for the price!

I bought this after seeing a guy selling a 6" x 6" square of this stuff to cover LEDs in your room. He was selling this small piece for $6 plus shipping.
I thought this is crazy I can get a whole roll of this stuff probably for that price! Well I found this at only around $5 an entire roll so I bought it and I have to say it works great for really dimming down the LEDs it can be doubled to if you need darker. I didn't buy this for my car so I can't say anything there but to block bright alarm clocks and chargers and a thousand other electronics that keep you awake this stuff is great!

I purchased this so I could put some tint on the window where my webcam is pointed.
The webcam image is over saturated in the morning during sunrise and in the high noon time of day. This material is easily trimmed with a pair of scissors. I placed two layers in front of the webcam and the image is much improved.

I just put my tint up today and it was a little hard to get it to stick onto my winshield but besides that its a breeze. Great quality with a really low price.

Used this product to cover my alarm clock which had a too bright light. The insta cling helps to dim the light so its not so bright in my room at night.

This product is absolutely best. I actually bought this for a super bright alarm clock. The best part about this product is that it clings, and does not require any water or solution to stick it.
