Product Description

It's reusable, strong & non-toxic plastic you can mold yourself!

InstaMorph is an advanced modeling compound that becomes moldable when warm (150 deg F) and solidifies at room temperature. It's made out of a lightweight polyester thermoplastic which acts like clay when warm, but when it cools, it's a strong plastic. Unlike other products that once they dry they are locked in that shape forever, InstaMorph can be reheated over and over again and re-molded into any number of configurations.

Instructions

1. Heat some water to 150+ degrees F.
2. Pour InstaMorph pellets into the water.
3. Wait approximately two minutes or until white InstaMorph pellets turn clear and stick together.
4. Remove from the water and get rid of any remaining liquid between the pellets.
5. Form into desired shape with your hands, tools, molds, or any other means necessary.
6. Once you've got your InstaMorph creation finalized, let it cool to room temperature and use.

Ideal for many projects and all skill levels

Mold it with your hands, tools, or press around an object to make a mold. InstaMorph can be painted, machined, carved or attached to other materials.

Product Uses

* Create props, masks, or other costume pieces for Halloween or theater.
* Makes excellent brackets, parts, molds, or housings for your next project.
* Make your own action figures or accessories.
* Mold around existing handles or grips for an easy ergonomic solution.
* Make custom cases or stands for the latest electronic gadgets.
* Ideal for prototypers or makers who want a strong, reusable compound.

I had a tooth removed in my lower back part of mouth. This resulted in a two tooth gap since I had another removed 10 years ago next to it. It was very uncomfortable and even painful after eating. I don't have dental insurance, but I was considering a partial denture, bridge or implants. After being told by my dentist that a bridge would not work because it was a two tooth width, I was resigned to the denture or implants. I went online and discovered this product and decided to give it a try before spending approx. 4k on implants. I was able after a few attempts to make a small bridge that snapped into place in the gap that works great! I had to grind it down a bit for fit and comfort, but now it doesn't feel any different than an expensive implant or denture I imagine. I do use a little denture adhesive to hold it in place during the day . No one can see it and I feel much better. I can even eat with it . I am considering buying dental glue to permanently hold it in. For now I take it out at night. So try this product and don't give up, just keep working until it's comfortable.

This is the exact thing stuff they use for Temptooth (http://www.amazon.com/Temptooth-Yourself-Tooth-Replacement-Product/dp/B00641RE7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392062468&sr=8-1&keywords=temptooth), but instead of paying $40 for 100 pellets, you pay $10 for hundreds and hundreds of pellets. Much better deal, if you ask me. :D

InstaMorph is an interesting, if slightly finicky accomplice for all sorts of unexpected uses. The container yields BB-sized balls of mostly opaque white plastic, similar to the appearance of the robot skin in I, Robot. When dropped in a bowl of hot water, they'll turn transparent within fifteen seconds and stick together (and to the bowl). You can then drain the water and prod the resulting soft and sticky mass onto any wet surface to mold.

The plastic doesn't retain enough heat to burn. Molding properties are similar to modeling clay. It's very easy to join and smooth edges with your hands or flatten a piece as if it were cookie dough. You can manipulate the shape for about three minutes until it begins to harden. It'll take another ten minutes to reach final hardness, or you can speed the process by putting it in the freezer for a few minutes or running it under cold water.

Beware: InstaMorph gets extremely tacky once it begins to set. If you're molding it on surface that it's not supposed to stick to (e.g., the batteries under the battery door cover I just made) and you make a mistake, don't attempt to pull it off while it's still partially pliable. You'll just leave a plastic residue that'll be almost impossible to remove later. If you wait until it hardens, it'll come off in one piece and you can start again.

When totally hard, strength is similar to standard, non-specialized toy plastic. It is not at all brittle and will bend under load. While you can cut very thin (under 1/16") sections with scissors, it's almost impossible to tear at any thickness. I created a simple tube about 1" in diameter and 1/8" thick and was able to stand on it with minimal deflection.

You can't weaken the material with handling.

I recently lost my job and couldn't afford COBRA. Of course I happen to crack a tooth that I'd had a root canal on. It's almost all gone so you see a big gap at the corner of my mouth when I smile. I know things happen, but I felt like a toothless loser. I didn't want to smile, or meet new people or go to any social gatherings.
I looked on Amazon and was going to pay for the other thing that costs way more money, but I went with this one because the description sounds exactly the same.
Can I just say this stuff is awesome? It really did save my life. I made a tooth and while it's not perfect, it gets the job done. Luckily it's in a place where you can't tell but it really helped my self esteem.
I've made a couple of different teeth and it takes some getting used to, but I did it. I also painted it with a light beigey colored nail polish because it was way too white. I also still have about 95% left so I can make as many teeth as I need to until I can afford to pay for a fake tooth.

I have to say I thought this stuff would be garbage but IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the middle of doing dental implants....On the bottom right of my mouth I had a tooth removed and waiting for an implant. While waiting for the implant ..you have no tooth...Because of where it is.. the only alternative was the dentist making me a partial plate to give the illusion of a tooth and that would cost a few hundred dollars..The dental implants are already costing a lot of money.. No thanks,,,Oh my goodness whats to do???..Having an implant you have to wait at least 3 months for your gums to heal. Well hello...??? what am I supposed to do for 3 months. So I tried InstaMorph...This stuff is amazing...For $9.00.....Boil some water...get it soft...get a little piece and place in where you have a missing tooth...mold it in.. and leave it in till it hardens....It may take you a few attempts to get it right. Less is more. Your new tooth will stay in place till you take it out. The only draw back is it's very white in color. If you teeth are pearly white you have it made..If not so white you won't care.. if it's a side or back tooth it still works great. You won't care about the color difference. You will have a tooth... A wonderful product....Really try it.....This has saved me hundreds of dollars while waiting for the implants...BUY IT!!!!!!!!
