In addition, every InstallerNet installation is backed with a national installation labor warranty in the business, three years for in-home installations, and for as long as you own the vehicle for in-car installations.

Professional installation from InstallerNet will ensure that the Consumer Electronics product that you bought will provide all of the performance that it's capable of for many years to come. Products that have been professionally installed work better, last longer, and are easier to use than if they're not properly installed. Let InstallerNet help you get all the performance you paid for.

What's Included with This Installation Package?

This InstallCard covers the basic installation labor for a professional Mobile Electronics installer to install an aftermarket car stereo in dash. The new stereo will be wired with a vehicle specific radio harness, and antenna cable and mounted with an aftermarket installation kit. This InstallCard will not cover additional wiring to bypass a factory amplifier, steering wheel control or Onstar type module. This InstallCard does not cover the parts needed for a professional installation, only the labor.

Visit www.InstallCard.com for more information.

Notes:

(situations where extra charges may apply at time of installation)

  • If the in-dash stereo has a satellite antenna that has to be mounted on the exterior of the vehicle, installation may require additional charges for parts and labor.

  • Onstar and some other factory security systems play through the factory radio, and the installation of an after factory stereo may require replacement modules.

  • If the factory wires or dashboard has been cut or damaged due to a previous unprofessional installation or theft, installation may require additional parts and labor.

  • Some vehicles will require an additional amplifier bypass harness to rewire a factory amplifier, along with additional labor--for example, vehicles that have factory Bose, Infinity or other premium sound systems.

  • If there is no installation kit available for your dash, the installer may have to fabricate a custom-mounting bracket.

  • To make any factory steering wheel controls work with an after factory radio will require additional parts and labor.

  • Some vehicles may require optional mounting brackets or additional labor due to the complexity of the existing radio removal. For example, some cars require the disassembly of a large portion of the dashboard just to remove the radio.

  • European cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc.) and some exotic vehicles may need additional labor due to the complexity of their wiring.

1.0 out of 5 stars I was completely suckered..., December 28, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: InstallerNet Car Stereo eInstallCard (Delivered via Email) (Electronics)
I bought a Car Stereo and the installercard popped up and I thought this would be a great idea because it was cheaper than the installers around here.

I purchased it and everything went fine... I received the confirmation that the store I was looking at was contacted and I Set up the appointment for the Monday after Christmas. I arrived at the Installer and was informed of cost after cost after cost that was not covered buy my installercard. I paid more for the install then I spent on my KENWOOD stereo!!!!!!!
I paid more for the install then if I went to closer store and had them do it... PLUS the cost of the installer card.

WARNING... WARNING... WARNING...

When you buy this card you are NOT buying a install of your equipment... you are ONLY purchasing a certain amount of money towards the install. The installer is allowed to jack the price anyway they want and you end up paying more than you would normally.

This is a complete scam that makes you go to certain installers in your area and they the card people make money by doing it.

DON'T BUY THIS CARD... IT IS A SCAM!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars What happens if your radio is defective?, October 26, 2010

Be sure to cover the bases on this service. I received a defective product(Amazon 3rd party) and had to return to the vendor again to have the HD radio checked by the installer several days after the initial install. I ordered another radio , waited 10 more days and returned to the installer again for a removal and replacement. My first contact with Installer Net after having the problem I was told they didn't participate in the profit from the radio sale and could not be responsible for a bad unit. One rep said I would be charged an additional $30 labor. What followed next was a roller coaster of both good/bad customer service with several emails and phone calls and finally an A to Z claim ,which Amazon recommended. Installer Net contacted the vendor and it was agreed there would be no additional charge to install the radio the second time. There also seems to be a general misunderstanding about the kit needed to adapt the radio to a vehicle from reading the other customer comments about surprise charges. Installer Net offers the kit and installation labor for $89.00, which is a $30.00 savings over buying it from a vendor. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably buy the product directly from the vendor and avoid the hassle....at least they would stand behind their product and service right off the bat.The experience was something I would rather have avoided.

2.0 out of 5 stars Installernet card, November 3, 2010

This review is from: InstallerNet Car Stereo eInstallCard (Delivered via Email) (Electronics)
Card was almost identical in price to just going to the local business and paying them directly to install my new car stereo. The card did not produce any added functionality or streamlining to my purchase and actually forced me to go further from my home to have the stereo installed. I had to go further from my home because of the limitations in choice to use only installers associated with Installer net cards. I used CAR TOYS and the service there was good no question , but I could have just called car toys and scheduled install myself for the same price or, chosen a closer location like best buy. Functionally this card just added a step and additional people to achieve the same end goal.
