This book has three short chapters on theory which are reasonably good. The parable-like stories in Chapter 3 are probably my favorites. Then there are 282 ideas on 150 pages--the bulk of the book. Then six very short and almost useless chapters including one on how you can contact the author to get consulting help.

The ideas are "fluffy"... for each one that I thought was good there are several (even dozens) that were silly, commen-sense, illegal (you cannot legally trade comp time for overtime for non-exempt position in the US), or otherwise unusable.

So the ultimate value of this book is how to make a lot of money writing some very thin material and a monument to Sugars' salesmanship.

Too many of the businesspeople I've come across say they've tried everything they know to improve cashflow in their business. Basically they run out of ideas and give up. Or place all their efforts into one or two ideas oblivious to all the other opportunities for cashflow. This book contains 100s of ideas to improve cashflow in 5 different areas of your business (did you even know there were 5 areas to work on?). Each idea is rated as to its expected effectiveness. Never be short of cashflow ideas again...

More than two hundred thousand companies go out of business each year due to lack of profits. Most know this but have been working on the "results" rather than the true "causes" of the problem.

I like this book because it shows you effective techniques in dealing with core issues, instantly. The fifty strategies for boosting the number of transactions, page 124, by itself will pay for this investment many times over.

Mr. Sugars delivers a message of self reliance throughout the book along with easy to follow steps for turning around the fortunes of any business - immediately!

I have recommended this book to all my clients. It is full of great ideas for businesses to implement. It gets you thinking outside the box. Every business owner should have this book.

I was disappointed - from the title I thought there would be advice on managing cash flow and instead it's the same advice on increasing sales. Just read the Business Coach book instead.

This book is great. It starts out with a story about the author and his mechanic and goes on in great fashion how to test and measure your profits and cash flow. Its full of practical advice that you can use once you put the book down.

This book clearly indicated what every business owner should know...cash flow is king. I operate companies doing 10 million plus in revenues each year. This book taught me to understand what true cash flow management looks like and how I can benefit by doing the basics. Control capital expediture but spend wisely. Too many businesses get in trouble by allocating unearned revenues to draw downs and current expenditures. Brad Sugars brilliantly presents the power of cash flow manaagement.
