It's a waste of money, don't buy it. The phonetics tools are good, but there is no chance anyone would learn English with this 5-CDs version, and also is too basic for people who want to improve their English command. I've found better stuff for free in Internet.

5 disks that are related in title only. Very difficult for non-english speaker to set up. Poor graphics. This is not for someone trying to learn English as a foriegn language. I'm here on Amazon to buy something different.

I teach ESL and love to use ONE disk from this set, the phonetic training program called "Speech Solutions". It is hard to find anywhere else, but it is worth having if you already feel good about most of your English language, and only need to work on the sounds you are making. It uses a simple, self-guided tour through all the phonemes, or sounds, of the American English language, including consonant pairs and "r-controlled" vowels.
As far as the other disks are concerned, they might be fun for a novice reader who already speaks English, but they are useless as an ESL tool.
Still, I'd buy it over again ust to get the speech program. Not for use with novice ESL students.
