I like this program. It is immediately useful.
The only problem I have is that some languages (like Tibetan) do not show phonetic spelling of the words along with the actual sounding out of the words.
For the price, I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

This is a good option if you'd like to learn just a little of a lot of different languages. It obviously doesn't have the depth of a more extensive single-language program. The interface is easy to learn and uniform across the various languages. I found the learning approach to be good, but not great. Note that the program has to run from disk. If you have a laptop with no built-in optical drive, you will have to create a disk image and run it on a virtual drive (not as technical as it might sound, google it).

Wasn't expecting much because of the low price and tremendous number of languages offered, but it was fun. Worked through three languages at the first sitting. Also sent a copy to my grandchildren ages 3 & 7. I think it's ideal for a first introduction to vocabulary for small children who aren't offered a foreign language in elementary school.

Great product for getting a good start learning a language. My husband is learning Arabic and Swahili and while this product is not EXTENSIVE, it is a great starting point. My daughter is learning French, Latin, and Japanese and loves this product (she is 15 years old). I am learning French as well and find it very helpful.

First let me be clear, this is not a comprehensive language learning course. Using soley this program its highly unlikely you will master any single language unless you're some kind of prodigy. What this is however, is a really awesome software package that gives you a basic working language for traveling purposes and light social interaction. It can also be used to help supplement your vocabulary and practice pronunciation of various words.

A couple cool features of this software is that it can teach any of the 33 languages in the software via any of those 33 languages. Let me clarify, you can have the program teach Thai to an Italian speaker, or Russian to a Thai speaker and so on, its really very cool in this aspect. Also you can have the software output an audio vocab list in mp3 format for you to put on your phone or mp3 player and listen to anywhere.

For this price you cannot pass this up if you are interested in learning languages and are a beginner. I know as of this review (December 2011) that its listed as unavailable here but look around its still available in some other locations on amazon Instant Immersion 33 Languages Deluxe V2.0

My grandson was so excited to receive this from me, He has a desire to learn other languages and he is impressed with this product. Thanks for the fast delivery to him.
