If you buy this book looking for ways to generate "instant" income, you will be disappointed. While there are some good ideas in the book, it is not a how to manual. Most of the ideas presented take both time and money to implement.

Having worked with hundreds of small business owners over a number of years, I found the section on intrapreneurship (an employee going into business with the owner)to be a little naive. My estimate would be well over 90% of owners of small businesses would be rather closed minded about the concept.

I found the book to be a good reminder of lots of things any business owner should at least think about. However the information was extremely general in nature. While there were some good points on most of the subjects covered, if you don't have the know how to implement them, you will either need to buy into Janet's coaching program or seek other expert advice.

Again it serves as a better reminder and check list than as a how to manual.

If you are considering generating more income from your existing business online OR you are thinking about creating a new online business - then this is a great book to grab a load of ideas on how to start. You will learn about income streams that you didn't even think of - ones that are quite easy - and then you also learn about some more advanced ideas if you are already somewhat established. What I really like about this book is that it is not one of those general fluffy books telling you things you already know about generating income. Like I don't need to hear one more thing how to save using the "latte factor". What I needed were a ton of ideas to work into my existing business - and that's what this book gave me. At the end, you will be able to sit down and design a marketing plan based on the great new ideas that you decide to use.

When I was growing up in New York, we had a saying about success, "It's not always what you know, but who you know that counts!"

Janet Switzer's "Instant Income" gives you the best of both worlds; Janet is the "who" you need to know, and she shows you exactly "what" you need to know and how to make it work for you! Instant Income will virtually lead you by the hand to your financial windfall in literally days.

As a test, I shared Janet's strategy for converting one-time customers to continuity customers (page 23) with a friend who owns a small business in Colorado. She had success in less than 30 days - picking up several new clients for sizeable fees!

Next, I shared Janet's strategy for building a business empire using a "Two-Step" seminar-workshop campaign (page 116) with a local colleague in the real estate business. Using Janet's "template" for writing effective copy, I wrote an ad which ran in a local paper and helped create a web presence. So far, the business has averaged about 30 leads per day and the first seminar is less than two weeks away! At $2,000.00 per enrollee, this business should generate more than $1,000,000.00 before the year is over!

Now that I've helped others, I've started assembling my own "Instant Income" system for myself!

If you don't purchase any other 'how to' book this year, buy "Instant Income" and use some of the "instant income" you'll produce to "gift" a copy to your friends and family! Instant Income should be the cornerstone of every library on achieving success.

At any price, "Instant Income" by Janet Switzer, is a double-barreled bang for your buck!

I'm really glad I'm probably the first reader of this book in Japan. This book completely blew my mind.
It is the gospel for all entrepreneurs, especially for those in seminar business. The author reveals how she sold Jack Canfield's-1000USD-seminar in just six hours step-by-step. It does work especially for small business owners who're in his/her field for several years with clients' database.
This book is a too-good-to-be true gift. It's too dangerous if someone with vicious mind read and apply it. I truly hope it WILL NOT be published in Japan and my competitors in seminar business won't read it, unless I translate this book by myself, as well as all her materials and products.

Big or small, if you are a business looking for an indispensable strategic planning tool for growing revenue from previously untapped methods, this is it! If you can read, there's enough meat here to keep your current account fed a long time. All you have to do is "fill in the blanks" with the details of your own situation.

No need to risk everything on spec--this book contains solid information and the free resources and support materials will help you analyse your own opportunities quite thoroughly. There's no excuse for not making it in your small business when help like this is just a few dollars away (and free if you borrow the book from the public library).

Instant Income made me proud to be a non-fiction writer because I could clearly see how presenting good information well can mean the difference between someone making it or not in a small business.

And you can take that right to the bank!
