Couldn't beat the price...
I bought 2 of these to make a "center line marker" on my milling machine... Once installed & adjusted, where the 2 laser lines intersect is "dead center" for a drill bit, end mill, counter bore, counter sink, etc... Yeah, the lines are several thousandths "thick" but it makes for a great starting point if you have to be that precise...

Its not bad, for the price...the line is not very sharp, maybe 3-5mm @ 1 meter distance. Probably would work fine for a laser level or something like that, for my application(making a 3D laser scanner), it won't do.

First off, as the title says, this laser emits a line using a diffusion lense. So towards the outer ends of the line, you do notice the slight diffusion.
Great plug and play capability, under the correct operating conditions, IE, the proper applied voltage. Great for my project, home-made laser level. |
