Room for improvement, but better than some of the alternatives, November 6, 2009
This review is from: Instapark® Dual Garage Door Laser Parking Guide System
I have the same complaints as others:
1. The red lights don't stay on long enough after they are activated by motion.
2. The adjustment "heads" don't move around nearly as much as they should to cover a two car application. I had to get crazy with the mounting to make this able to hit both cars. I have a high ceiling, and had it been a low ceiling, it would have been impossible to get the heads articulated in such a way to reach both cars. I should also add that I back in one car, and pull the other straight forward, so this complicated things.
In the future, I would probably opt for two different single units for a two car application. If you have a large two car garage with separate doors, I have a really hard time thinking this will work, especially if you have a standard 8ft ceiling. I was only able to accomplish this due to my 10ft ceiling and the fact that my garage is incredibly narrow with a single door.

Parking Made Easy!, July 27, 2009
This review is from: Instapark® Dual Garage Door Laser Parking Guide System
The unit is easy enough to install. My garage has a high ceiling and, thus, I had to secure the laser system to the underside of the existing garage door opener. I plugged the AC adapter of the laser system into the electrical outlet on the ceiling right above the garage door opener - it certainly helped that the length of the connecting wire was over four feet long! Then I parked and positioned both my vehicles exactly where I wanted them and adjusted the laser arms to set the light beams to show up on the dashboard where I desired. The system, including the motion detector, works fine and it undeniably looks cool - my only gripe is that I wish the laser light stayed on a bit longer (I timed it a few times and sometimes it would switch off within 15 seconds and sometimes within 30 seconds).

LASER PARKING GUIDE, October 1, 2009
This review is from: Instapark® Dual Garage Door Laser Parking Guide System
This is a replacement for the one we bought about 3 years ago manufactured by MAXSA and it does not meet up to that standard.
First the symbol for the middle battery is backwards.
The range of adjustment for the lasers is limited by the high shoulders around the joint that holds the lasers in place.
The motion sensor turns the laser of too quickly.
Works well with the exception of these items.
