Laser works well in both day light and at night. Pressure switch is a little flimsy. I have it mounted on a 5.56mm Galil ARM, and has kept it's alignment through sustained fire.

Awesome laser, really bright. easy to sight in. haven't seen it during daylight yet, but at night you can see the whole beam, like he said on the other review it does light up the whole room.

only down side is the cheap pressure switch. i pulled on it a little bit mounting the switch and had to tape it down so it gets a proper connection. glad it comes with a manual on\off switch for backup.

another downside is the minimum operating temperature is +15 F, -10 below in AK makes it go dim pretty quick, 5-10 min tops outside.

keep it warm, and don't pull on the pressure switch wire!!!

The product is not as described. The laser does not have external adjustments like a rifle scope, you have to remove the cap of the laser and use 2 different size allen wrenches to adjust windage and elevation. Also the product dimensions are listed as 4 X 1.5 X1.5, the actual length of the product is 5.5".

I would not recomend this laser if you are wanting external adjustments since there is none.

super bright if you turn it on while the entire room is dark it will literaly light up the room who needs a flashlight when u got such a high intensity beam . anyways i bought it for my mossberg 590 shotgun and it was well worth it it kind of makes you eager to have someone break into ur home to use it lol .......

Pros: It is very bright and has a very nice beam. Cool in the dark because you can actually see the beam in the air. I bought this product for home defense on my Del-Ton M-4 and its bright enough that you don't even need a flashlight. Very well made has a nice outer construction and it rugged for the price. I saw from other review that the pressure switch is weak but for me that isn't the case it a very nice pressure switch. The other switch is a steady or intermittent switch depending on how much you tighten it. Come packaged very well in a cool box that makes it look like a very expensive item and I feel it as good as any $100 laser sight. The mount is actually both weaver and picatinny because it has two different sized pins that go into the grove of a rail it also holds the laser very secure.

Cons: Bad directions. External adjustments are not real just for show the outer set screws are to calibrate the sight not sight in. Not calibrated right had to do it myself but no problem. Also the tension springs to allow up and down with the A adjustment were to short so I stretched them to allow better feed back. On the directions it shows the three adjustments A/B/C with the letters right side up which actually makes the adjustments upside down. So make sure the letters on the adjustments are upside down so the adjustments are right side up when you are sighting it. I won't be doing long rang adjustments because it's for in home so I will sight it in in the longest place in my house so it won't need to be pin point just sighted enough so I can hit a threat in close quarters.

Overall: It a great sight for the price I would buy another one.

Was disappointed at first because I had a problem with the switch and cord working properly. I asked the company if they had a fix for the problem and they immediately sent me a new unit by priority mail. The new unit works great. This company has outstanding customer service!

The green laser site appears to do all it promises, at a very reasonable price. It easily installed on my weaver base on my rifle. The sensor pad works fine, although it is a bit fragile appearing. It would have been nice if the pad also had something to permit an easy attachment. As it was, I was able to simply use electrical tape to affix it to the kelly grip of my rifle, and it worked perfectly.

I'm curious to see how well it holds up over time, but so far so good.

this is by far the best laser sight i have ever bought . super bright will indeed light up an entire room in the dark. the pressure switch was flawless and of good quality, i seen others say it was cheap, i guess there are some defective ones out there lucky for me this was not the case.

Pros - once you get it installed and set up it does what it says.
Cons - No instructions for installation or setup and the pressure switch fails intermittently unless mounted correctly.
Overall, if you're handy, this shouldn't be a problem. All necessary wrenches are included.
To install use the supplied large allen wrench and lock it to your rail.
To set up, use the middle size supplied allen wrench to remove the lens cover set screws (4) and put them aside (See uploaded image). There are 3 adjustable allen screws under the cap (use the smallest supplied wrench) in the holes next to the diode mount.
The most success I had was to set my AR on it's bipod and point at a target using the iron sights (I used NRA magazines and Going Rogue: An American Life to support the stock LOL) then adjust the laser to the target. The adjustments are VERY touchy so start with a target at 25 yds. By the time you get to 50 yds if you barely move the screw and you'll overshoot by 6 inches. The laser is visible out to 100 yds on a slightly overcast day, 50 in bright sunshine and for night fire it's over 300yds.
FYI - I tried using a 22 conversion and sighting it in but even using 22's it was a waste of ammo. I think if I had to do it again it would be worth it to borrow or buy an Aimshot 20X Brighter 223 Bore sight..
Also about once out of 20-30 times the switch didn't work but that may be just the way I'm using it. The switch and coil cord are large. I use it on my AR15 mounted to a Tapco Intrafuse Ver Grip Bipod but don't know how you'd fit it on a pistol.

Update - The first one kept slipping out of alignment and eventually the screws stripped. Returned the first for a replacement (customer service was excellent). The second one is doing the same thing. After 30 rounds the sighting has slipped again. Considered dropping locktite through the adjustment holes or just throwing it out and buying something better. I would no longer recommend this product for anything more than a 22 plinker. It can't handle the shock of anything bigger.

Final - This is pretty much useless for anything tougher than an airsoft gun. I gave up when the screws stripped again. I spent $60 on this one and it's great. http://www.primaryarms.com/product.sc?productId=509&categoryId=130

The unit does not have external adjustments, they're just for show. You have to remove the endcap and adjust with an allen wrench. It eats batteries like a starving goat. It does not hold a zero.

Based on my experience with this product I will not only never buy anything from Instapark again, I will never buy from a merchant that stocks their products.
