After a year of using this the batteries the batteries stopped holding their charge and I stopped using them. I replaced them with AA rechargable batteries.
Original Review:
The Charging station
The charger has 2 slots to put batteries for charging and 2 slots to put the remotes with the batteries on them. There is an on/off switch on the back. Unplug your Wii AC adaptor and plug the chargers cable adapter in its place and then plug the Wii AC adaptor in the chargers cable adapter that is plugged into the Wii. I did not plug mine into my Wii, I just used a 12volt ac/dc adaptor(Wall Adapter Power Supply - 12VDC 1A) that plugs into the wall instead and that worked just fine.
Charging
On the back of the batteries it said and I quote "Note! Before using your battery pack for the first time, you must charge the battery over 12 hours or else the battery life will be reduced!" Other than that, those are the only instructions that came with it. I was able to put the remote on the charger without taking off the wii strap and just rolled up the wii jacket instead of taking it completely off. When I started the 12hr charge, the light was red (indicates batteries are charging), and about 2 hours later it was blue (which is supposed to indicate the batteries are fully charged), but I kept them charging all day anyway.
Putting Batteries On
After the charging was done I put them on the remotes. I have 3 remotes. 2 are official Wii remote plus controllers, the other is a 3rd party remote. The batteries fit with little effort on the 3rd party remote and is easy to remove.

I was worried these battery packs/chargers may not work with our WII but it fit perfectly and works great. Will save a bunch of time and money changing batteries.

Two of the 4 bateries fell apart after only 2 months of moderate use. It is very difficult to remove the battery from the remote, so you have to force a little bit. I think it is impossible to NOT break it after a few uses. It is cheap, but not worthy.

Never held a charge, never worked, at all. Out of four battery packs you'd think at least one would work. Don't waste your money. I have gone back to using regular AA batteries for our Wii romotes, at least they work.

Had this for awhile...thought I"ll give it a chance...but does NOT charge!!! Followed directions, let it charge the first time around for the 8hrs it said, went to use the remotes...and was only able to play ONE time, Just Dance, before it popped up saying that controllers needed to be charged!!! One dance!!! Getting the charger was a big waste of time & money. Making myself believe that my family just received a defected one...but buy at own risk. Be aware that it also DOES NOT come with a A/C charger...you have to charge it through your Wii consoul...or have an A/C adaptor that will work. Really wished this charger did work right...because with a family of four, playing a "family game night", we were in much need of a charger w/four batteries!

I bought this unit and it seemed to work fine during the first couples of months. However, after approximately three months it did not charge the batteries any more. A complete waste of money.

The batteries are horrible! Will not hold charge. Cover plastic is poorly designed and breaks. Charger comes with no charger. You plug it into the Wii power brick with VERY short cable.
Would not recommend. You are better off buying rechargeable batteries.

I purchased my Wii used from Craigslist so I had no idea what I was getting into. Since I primarily wanted the system only to stream Netflix I was hardly using the remote at all yet still finding it was downright BURNING through batteries!
I was extremely frustrated when I ran across this little gem of a product. I was cautiously optimistic at first because there were many positive reviews but also a couple that had warned against my entire system being compromised.
Well, I've had it plugged up now for a couple of days and after the initial confusion as to how to plug the dang thing in (thanks to another reviewer for detailing that for me - whew!) I have been in 100% complete love with this thing.
I plugged in my one remote and noticed the color turn blue within a couple of hours but all the same I left it to charge overnight. Everything is working like a charm and I'm VERY relieved to never have to drop another wad of cash on something that really is not that much in demand in my household.

P.S. My son came back from a night at his grandmother's to see this new device plugged in to "his" Wii. He pointed out the glowing blue light and said, "Wow! Cool!" Thus far, every member of my family loves the new remote dual charger.
