After they were slow to ship, I finally received the lens keeper. It was too short to use on any of my lenses, even the prime lenses. They promised to send me one with a longer string, but they just sent me the same one again.

Stay away from these guys.

The quality of this product is really bad. It fell apart while putting it on the camera. I reckon that is what I get for a $1.33 :)

I do alot of nature photos and was always losing my caps or dropping then in the mud. This Lens Cap Keeper has been one of my best purchases. It stays on in the cold and rain, was easy to apply the cord is the right lenght for macro shots without getting in the way. This is a must purchase for all camera buffs!

These lens cap keepers were a waste of time and money. They look NOTHING like the picture you see when ordering. They're a cheap knock off. 2 were purchased. On one lens, the elastic hoop that fits around the lens body came apart. On the second, the adhesive tab that attaches to the lens cap seperated from the plastic tab it was attached to. In addition, these looked horrible. The round plastic tab that attaches to the lens cap really does not fit anywhere. You have to stick it to the flattest surface you can find and then hope the little dab of spongy adhesive sticks...and it does not. I took both off and threw them away and my only concern now is getting the residue from that tab off my lens cap. Best advice it to buy original lens caps with attached keepers direct from NIKON.

When I found the Lens Cap Keeper Holder for my Nikon D5100 I was excited. I am always looking for my lens cover. After placing my order and waiting and waiting for the order to come in I sent the seller several e-mails. I have not received any response back from the seller. After three attempts I finally gave up. I will be filing a claim with Amazon. I do not blame Amazon but I have had other type problems with ordering from third party venders. This may be the last time.

It does it's job. I wish it was a little more discreet on the front. Oh I just thought of using a little black Sharpie on the white circle. If you are concerned about the adhesive coming off after awhile or in the heat, that is what super glue is made for...

I was concerned about how well this would work, don't be, works great, very easy and helpful. I was always putting the lens cap in my pocket to keep it safe (they are expensive to replace) and it would get lint on it and then deposit that lint on my lens. This product solved that problem completely. Highly recommend!
