From the smooth bossa nova of "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars," to the funky beat of "S.O.S.," this album has something for every mood. Includes an intense rendition of Earth, Wind, & Fire's "Fantasy." Grant proves once again that he can take any form of jazz, add a little of his own unique piano magic, and turn it into something enjoyable and inspiring.

I bought this CD on impulse because all I'd heard on the radio were exquisite piano works. I was looking forward to a CD of piano music--and what I've heard is superb. NOT! It's mostly a cocktail lounge type of smooth jazz-OK for what it is, but not what I expected. Shame on me for not doing my homework.
