Please do not be fooled to think that this Volume 1 of Calvin's Institutes is a new translation or otherwise a brand new edition, although the publication date is listed as September 2002. It is merely a reprint of the old translation by Henry Beveridge! It is much cheaper to purchase the edition of Henry Beveridge's translation published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. (ISBN 0802881661), which combines Volumes 1 and 2 into one book at a fraction of the cost of just this one volume. You will get the same translation at a much lower cost.
