It is so nice to have someone explain the mass in simple terms. I also enjoy the way that Fr. Stan explains everything - right down to the different vestments that the priest wears. Fr. Stan is a very dymanic speaker and he holds your attention. I would recommend this video to anyone - Catholic and Non-Catholic that wants to know more about the mass. You will learn a lot about the mass from watching this video. You also get an extra bonus of hearing Fr. Stan singing one of his songs at the end of the mass.

When I first put this video on, I thought, "Oh, man, it's a home video." Having witnessed Fr. Stan live, I decided to see it before passing final judgment. My concerns soon fell away as I fell in love with the content. This powerful video had me in tears especially during the consecration of the Holy Mass. I was elevated to the highest spiritual height at the Presence of the Lord in His Most Precious Body and Blood, regardless that I was viewing this Sacred Mystery on my TV screen. Fr. Stan's absolutely right when he says, "How can you ever be BORED during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass?" Get this video for your 'Fallen-Away' Catholic relatives, friends (Catholic or non) or for your kids who don't know why they come to Mass. Fr. Stan is the MAN who brings souls back to Christ. God has done great things in him, his humble servant. What are you waiting for? ORDER IT! It will change your whole outlook for PARTICIPATION during Mass.

There's so much to learn about the Mass that you can't absorb it all in one sitting. It is nice to be able to understand the traditions, history and purpose of the various parts of the Mass. And to have it explained in Fr. Stan's dynamic style, what could be better? In addition to being a great musician, he's a great preacher and teacher.

Watching this tape, there is no doubt about Father Stan's love for Christ and the Mass. His enthusiasm overflows on this tape. You will learn a lot from this tape and will come to appreciate the Mass more. This said however, there are some problems. The video quality is fair to poor and its hard to watch. The sound quality is even worse. They simply used the mic from the camcorder and picked up the sound in the church. Its a shame that the form of the piece comes into play but it makes it hard to watch at one sitting. Don't expect profession quality and you will not be dissapointed. Just be prepared for some stories not related to topic at hand (Father Stan likes to go off on tangents.

This tape is an awesome way of really appreciating the Mass! I watch it over and over again-and always find a new or inspirational thought. When I attend Mass now I truely understand and remember why I'm at church. Fr. Stan caught my attention when I first watched the tape, and now I can't get enough of his music and spiritually! I am ordering another since I've given my original tape to the Youth Group at church for their viewing and discussions! Thank you GOD for Fr. Stan's talent!
