This is the best source of information that I have found about pre-War Lionel trains. I have a bunch of trains and equipment from the 1930's and early 40's, and am really glad that I bought this book. It solved a lot of problems.

I was disappointed in this booklet. It consists of copies of old Lionel operating instructions as shipped with product such as the 97 coal tower. Then it just extracts a few paragraphs from that original manual. I found very little of use in this booklet, a disappointment for $9.00.

I bought this handy guide to set up some of our old Lionel Accesories such as the operating milk car. It is a very useful how to guidefor the Lionel collector / operator. I don't have instruction sheets for my old toy trains so this filled in the missing peices.
