This puzzle is sturdy enough to withstand my 2 year old grandson's play techniques--chewing on it, banging it, etc. It is the perfect level to keep him absorbed--difficult enough that he can't solve it in 30 seconds or less however, with a little thought, he can solve it with no assistance.
