This is one of my favorites from back in high school. Phil Driscoll is not for everybody, but as a trumpet player myself, I love Phil Driscoll's trumpet playing. My old cassette wore out years ago from overuse, and I never tried to replace it until recently. Imagine my shock to see it for sale here on Amazon for $50!! What madness!! This album is not out of print, it is still available for about $16 from Phil Driscoll's Website, phildriscoll.com or mightyhorn.com. You can also listen to samples there. His CD's are also available from online Christian retailers like christianbook.com.

Bottom line - Get it, but by all means, don't get ripped off!!!

I have had this album (in the form of a cassette) for years, and never grow tired of it! Phil Driscoll is a man who plays and lives life with a passion. His trumpet playing has the ability to give you goosebumps as you allow God to minister to you through the sound of the horn. Phil is a worshipper through & through, and I'm sure his desire is to cause you to want to worship the King of Kings with him, as you listen to this sensational album.

Phil Driscoll plays the trumpet with a passion I have never heard before. Why? Because he plays it for the Lord. You can hear it in every note he plays on this recording. Turn it on, sit down with the lights low or off, ask Jesus into the room, and get ready to worship Him with music as you may never have before. Phil Driscoll is on fire for the Lord in a big, big way and it shows through his music on this CD.

Phil Driscoll has always been the best trumpet player. I have his first gospel album when he was 19, yeah way back when the recordings were done on "vinyl, and were called LP's - or record albums". Phil only gets better, and although that is frustrating for me as a trumpet player, who doesn't seem to improve as I get older -- but it is always great music to listen to, Phil is the best.

Phil Driscoll is one of the most talented trumpet players I've ever heard. Combine that skill with a good band, upbeat tempo, and songs you can sing along to, and you have a truly great album.

Growing up I used to try and play all of Phil Driscolls songs. Of course the results weren't the same. If you like the trumpet, you will be amazed at how it can sound in the hands of someone with the talent of this man. Of course I don't buy his CDs anymore because somewhere along the way, he thought he was a singer and strayed away from the instrumentals. I personally don't recommend any of his new CDs but this one is simply his best.
