Warning!! If you buy one Mehdi CD, you will buy them all. I am about to order Vol 6. Love the John Tesh stuff, Brickman etc., but find Medhi to be a tad more interesting. I do find this artist's style to have an unusual appeal, and not repetative.

Here's a rare jewel that has presented itself to me, touched and affected me in ways that I can never completely express to you. Mehdi has earned my deep, abiding respect and admiration. ESCAPE is utterly unbelievable in its delicate nuances of simple beauties and its profound depths into timeless odysseys. Mehdi's masterful use of acoustic and electric guitar, violin, cello, flute, piano and percussions, weave layer upon layer; fading in, out and flowing over, under and through the listener to create nothing short of a Dreamscape of fantasy. From the lovely "One Child's Dream," filled with wonder, to the introspective, bittersweet "Memories;" ESCAPE conveys all the emotion my heart can hold and then some, bursting outwardly causing spontaneous smiles along with tears of joy. Since ESCAPE is so close to my heart, I have tried listening to it during numerous activities and it inspires me in each and every one! "Music that sounds the way life should feel," is completely true.

Mehdi was Born to do this in my opinion.

Soar!

I love this cd so much I have one at the office, and one at home, and my husband bought another for the car. This isn't exactly music that I can go sleep to, but it is soothing and relaxing. It's the most moving music I have ever heard, and stirs my very soul! It puts me back in time to I don't know where, but I like where it puts me. I'm going to get all of Medhi's albums, I hope they are as great as this one!

Escape has stood strongly on it's feet for the past few years. The music is so motivating at times that you can't sit still. Other songs will touch you so deeply you won't be able to shake the tune for hours. The melodies are thought provoking, soul searching and stimulating. It's one Mehdi CD that I'm thankful I own. If you know anyone who enjoys quality instrumental music, this would be the perfect gift. One that I'm sure they'd be thankful for receiving.

Melodic instrumental music to reach and soothe, and the violin on song 4 is nothing but superb artistry. Mehdi's musical talent is such that I have ordered more of his work. This album will touch emotions you never knew you possessed. It tells storys, sheds tears and laughs heartily. This music is a vacation for your soul. The world could use more of this wonderful, wonderful music.

After listening to this wonderful new album by Mehdi 4 or 5 times I can honestly say that it truly deserves 5 stars. This is one of those albums that one can enjoy morning, noon or night and it's just perfect for in the car. Not a single bad cut on the entire album, just great instrumentals that will touch your heart and soul in ways that will make you want to hear it over and over again.

I found Mehdi via Amazon, looking for something similar to Loreena McKinnet's instrumentals. Never mind the one or two reviewers who label this as elevator music. A cheap rendition of Copa Cabana fills that category, and Mehdi is nowhere near that end of the spectrum. Any song from Mehdi's collection is in itself unique and colorful. The music flows softly, allowing you to use it for any occasion: reading, studying, writing, dinner parties, driving, etc. I've even used it for background music while on the computer. It is soothing, calming, and brings to mind your own images of what each note represents to you, personally. I describe it as a soundtrack for your life. Since I found several songs on each cd sample I liked, I went ahead and bought the gift set. It's worth every penny and all of them are unique. Once you hear these melodies, Mehdi will not fail to accompany your every adventure.

I picked up this album based on some of the reviews and was not at all disappointed. The music keeps you interested from start to finish and after listening to it about 5 times it still sounds fresh. very well done, I would buy another product from this company any day....

I'm truly grateful to the Creator for bringing me into this world. How else would I have discovered Mehdi's music? I've rated all of Mehdi's CDs' and I'm writing this review as I'm listening to Instrumental Escape the 5th time since i received it earlier today. Right now, "Bridge To Eternity" is playing and the music is so heavenly and intense that I feel it is not me writing this review. A special force grips me every time I listen to Mehdi's music and it's no different this time. "One Child's Prayer" has to be the most touching and haunting of all melodies. I relate to the song so well, that the moment I listened to it, I already knew the ending. Instrumental Escape Vol 5 is the best CD of music I have listened to this year and I rate all of Mehdi's 4 other CDs' the best recordings ever made to date. The sound production in this CD is absolutely amazing. I played it on 3 different Hi-Fidelity systems and they all produced flawless dynamic clarity and I could hear every single instrument as if they were being played live in front of me. Mind you, not many CD's today have this recording clarity. "Footprints In The Sand" and "Escape" are pieces of music that one can transcend to another place, another time. As a music composer myself, I find Mehdi's musical arrangements to be intense, detailed and irreplaceable. He's my mentor and I'm proud to tread the same earth as him. God bless Mehdi, his music, and all the people of the world who believe that music has the power to heal, soothe and unite beings the world over. Mehdi's music consists of beautiful instrumental pieces that flow very nicely and most of the instruments here are liveincluding Piano,Guitar, Violins, Cello, Flute and quality players with rich sounding string sections. On His web site (SoothingMusic.Com), they describe his creations as "Music That Sounds The Way Life Should Feel". I think its a perfect definition to the experience you have when you listen to this CD.I found it very emotional, enchanting and relaxing. Gentle, moody rhythms and colorful sound that combined together into a musical kaleidoscope. Beautiful spiritual journey.
