Great Weather Station, October 3, 2009
This review is from: Davis Instruments Complete Weather Wizard III with Rain Collector Digital Weather Station
After much research I chose the Davis Weather Wizard III because of previous experience with the unit when I was teaching sixth grade science. It is a cabled unit and that keeps the price down. Set up was extremely easy and I ended up with only the console visible. All the wires are hidden in the wall. I had previously considered going wireless but I'm glad I did not.

Cheaply made, hangs up, May 22, 2010
This review is from: Davis Instruments Complete Weather Wizard III with Rain Collector Digital Weather Station
I have a Davis Weather Wizard that my wife gave me for my birthday. The positive thing I can say is that it usually works. The negatives are that it's not well made and the display freezes up from time to time. To fix the display requires unplugging from the wall charger and removing the battery. Davis customer service confirmed that this is a problem and recommended a surge suppressor on the wall charger...didn't make any difference.
If I had it to do over again, I'd look for a better made system.
