you should buy these.

quick change bit holders and drivers are the only way to go.

however, hex shank bits are expensive, cannot be bought in bulk, and those silly hex shanks even slip and come lose sometimes, which is amazing and makes me want to throw things.

buy normal round shank bits. buy 20 or so of the small ones you break a lot of. buy them in bulk. sharpen the bigger ones that are snap resistant cause they're thicker and sturdier. save your money, and save time with quick change stuff.

and check out matthias wandel's woodgears.ca video on youtube about how to sharpen drill bits by hand on a grinder without having to spend all that money on a drill doctor. they're great , but way too much doh.

my Drill for some reason will throw drillbits that have the rounded end.. and I was getting mad having to buy entire sets with the hex ends when i only needed 1 or 2 different bits..Even the hardware stores didn't know this existed...There's a strong possibility I order another set or 2 just incase I loose pieces..

I have several other specialty drill bits by this company which I've used over the years. I bought this set for the following reasons:

1. Drill bits do not spin in the chuck, which causes scoring on the bit’s shank.
2. If a drill bit dulls or breaks, you usually have to throw the bit away. With this set, I just buy an extra number of bits sized to the bit holders, and replace them as needed.
3. You can easily remove the bit and sharpen it, when needed.
4. It's cost effective to buy your spare drill bits in quantities greater than one.
5. I would like to see them make other sizes up to at least 1/2" since when you use them in a chuck, the bit will usually spin, causing scoring on the bit shank.
6. This set is well engineered and has met or exceeded my expectations.
I would highly recommend this set to anyone who uses drill bits a lot and is looking for a method for quick changing drill bits.
