5.0 out of 5 stars Thoughtful plot with a thrilling conclusion, May 5, 2009
By Nancy Marquez (Santa Cruz, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Insured (Paperback)
This is a complex story, not always perfectly black and white, which initially unfolds gradually as the protagonist pieces together more and more truth. For readers like me who enjoy a thoughtful plot with a thrilling ending, this book is a fun read. Nancy Lynn Jarvis The Death Contingency

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 stars Suspense filled..., July 27, 2009
This review is from: The Insured (Paperback)
Anthony Toro offers readers a plot filled with suspense. Del Miller is an executive for an insurance company. He stumbles upon some documents that at first look above suspicion but upon further investigation appear to be fraudulent. As he probes deeper, he begins to suspect everyone. The more he learns the more he fears for his family's safety.

Anthony Toro offers readers a complex thriller. The pace of this book accelerates as it speeds to the climax. The plot is entertaining. The characters are likable. I like a book with a solid plot, well-developed characters, and a premise that is plausible. The Insured fits that bill. Buy your copy today.
