This book..was the hardest book I have ever tried to get through. I found it constantly losing my attention. The content is there, if you're willing to sit through the snorefest. Too many times it felt as though the book went into detail about the most miniscule of topics. An example, I was expecting more content and insightfulness on al Qaeda; what I got was a sliver of al Qaeda and a review of the insurgency of Portugal among other topics. If you're looking for a book on middle eastern terrorism, turn elsewhere.
