It's a power cord -- nothing much to it. However the reason I am writing this post, is to alert anyone concerned that this cord DOES WORK WITH PS3 Slim. This is so fantastic!!!!

This cable was cheap (price wise), and says the platforms are Xbox and PS2, but it works perfectly for my PS3 Slim. I assume it works for many other electronics as well, since its a fairly standard cable.

I would definitely recommend it, no problems to report here. Very happy with my purchase.

We had bought this cord to replacea lost xbox cord. Worked great and would have adapted to fit our Ps3 if needed!

I bought this hoping it would work for my PS2, and it did! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a backup cable.

I have an original Xbox that was part of a power supply recall in 2001. They shipped a new power supply that had a reset button on it. Up until about 2009 it worked great as it was, but I had to ductape the button to keep it from accidently resetting on me. Eventually my Xbox refused to turn on at all. Since my solution was to trash the Xbox & buy a new one or try replacing the powersupply that's why I did. This powersupply fixed my issue and my Xbox runs fine now.

So, it definitely runs on the older Xbox models and although it doesn't have the surge protection feature the original one did, I think it works better without it and I plug it into an external surge protector anyway.

I needed a new cord to play my xbox, this worked perfectly and I've been able to enjoy all that Half-Life 2 and Prince of Persia can offer me, thanks to this cord!

I looked all over for a cable that fit. I even ordered the Nyko one for the fat original PS3 model. This is the one that fits.

I was afraid I would not find this cable and I wanted to use my old XBox to exercise (using Dance Dance Revolution and the dance pad - great workout).
Of course Amazon had it, and the seller used sent it immediately and in the exact condition noted. Thank you to all - perfect.

This cable broke down on me after I used it for 3 days!! Do not buy for a ps3. you are better off buying a ps2 power clable which I use now and I haven't had any problems with it

It works fine with my PS3. The shape doesn't exactly match the PS3 one, but it fits, supplies power, doesn't make it explode, etc.
