I bought this as a Christmas gift and how disappointing this was to my 12 yr old daughter!!! It stopped working after about an hour of play. At first, it was just almost impossible to keep control of the car and then it wouldn't steer straight. Then it just stopped working within a hour of playing!!! Very disappointing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This is the most hideous thing I've ever used. I got it for 10 dollars with Gran Turismo 4, and I'm upset it cost that much. If you haven't ever driven a car in your life, or been in one, this may seem sub par to you. If you drive, forget it.

While driving with it, you start swerving from side to side, with no control at all. You correct it, but no, it just whips you in the other direction. I've had more fun playing with just the stock controller then this thing.

And the pedals are supposed to be analogue (emphasis on supposed). With the regular controller, you have much precise control over the gas and brake functions of the car. With this its STOP GO LEFT RIGHT. THATS IT. Its a total hunk of junk.

Even though I only spent ten dollars on it, I just want to let everyone know "DO NOT BUY THIS".

Go with the more expensive Logitech Driving Force Pro. Its more expensive for a reason - *gasp* it works! Yes, it really does work!

This is a simple wheel, just a wheel and 2 pedals. However, it is effective enough to win games. I like it, because it helps me to get score and medals, cars.

The rubber handle is soft and fit to palms. Longer you play, more you like it. Foot pedals are O.K., but not heavy enough. It slips, but is acceptable.

Watch out if you own a GameCube. The G5285 model...with 7 buttons across the top DOES NOT have the vibrations and the pedals don't work on GC. You have to get the new and improved version. It's not until you read the instruction manual CLOSELY that you see these functions work only for PS2 and other systems. Now we take our three sons back to the store to spend the additional money to upgrade to a more expensive model. I don't see the new and improved model on the Toys website but it is the one on the Toys site isn't even on the manufacturer's site.

My son got this Intec Racing Wheel for Christmas this year. He (we) are using it with his X-Box. Overall it's pretty fun, but very different from playing with the standard controller. You'll have a small learning curve.

The disappointing thing was the locking lever for the tilt function broke the first day of play. Now the wheel won't lock into any position. Back to the store! We'll consider a more expensive wheel hoping that it will be stronger.

It's a good wheel, just be gentle with it!

I bought this wheel specifically for GT4, but I didn't want to spend $100+ on an expensive wheel. I was VERY surprised at the sensitivity and control functions! You have every button at your fingerprint, and it actually races MUCH better than my controller!

I bought this wheel for 40 bucks because it was cheap enough for me to get. the others were 100-150 bucks. i have had the wheel for about a week know. and it worked fine until yesterday. i used the teloscopic zoom on the wheel to make it closer to my body. instead the wheel broke clean off the base and it is just dangeling there. i will return it and buy another wheel. buy this wheel if you are short on mony. if you are looking for a great wheel, get the gran turismo wheel. it has a shifter and evrything. overall, ii give this wheel 3 stars.

I have never bought a racing wheel but like the other reviews have already said, the $10 wheel was cheap enough to try out. Maybe I got a defective wheel (I'm in the process of getting a replacement) but the wheel did not work with Grand Turismo 4 as advertised. There was some sort of loss of acceleration going on with the pedal or with the "X-Button" on the wheel. I could not get the wheel or pedals to work. I made sure that the analog sticks were working fine on the dual-shock controller and that was working just fine. Like I said, I may have gotten a defective wheel but with the other reviews in, I say this thing is a piece of junk. Let the buyer beware....

The pedals stopped working after 30 minutes!!

It is the Worst toy ever!!!!

Got this racing wheel for 10.00 after purchasing it together with Burnout's Revenge for 39.99 at Toy r Us BM. Since I have no other racing wheel to compare it to, I'll take a stab of assessing the wheels performance. I used it for Colin Mcrae Rally 04 for the Xbox and the handling was horrible. I could not steer the car into the direction I wanted. It could be the game itself, but I kept going off the path of the road. Next up, Burnout Takedown for the Xbox. This is where the racing shined. The handling felt good, a few slippage here and there, but then again, it could me. It was easy to boost the car acceleration thanks to the layout of the buttons. Acceleration and braking worked fine. Much easier to use the wheel than the controller. Plus my 5-year-old daughter, Carissa, loved it. She was delighted she could finally drive, albeit a videogame simulation of driving. The nice thing about wheel is that it's universal with Xbox, PS2 and Gamcube. The wire comes with 3 different attachments for the three systems. It was very easy to assemeble and get it up and running. For 10 bucks, it not a bad racing wheel for Burnout. I'm not sure about other games since I only own Burnout and Colin Mcrae. I guess YMMV, but for Burnout, it works well.
