These balls are ok if hitting them with irons as long as you don't hit them "thin". If you hit them "thin" with a hard swing, they will dent. If hit with a driver or wood, they will dent and eventually break around the equator of the ball. So, hitting them flush with an iron should be ok. Haven't tried with a 3-iron or 4-iron. Would probably have the same effect as hitting them with a driver or wood.

Their quality is pretty poor. I'm a beginner so I don't really have a strong swing yet, and even at half speed these balls lasted about 4 swings before they were dented to the point where they were unusable. I'm glad this product doesn't cost more.

We lost our one little wiffle style ball and found it when we moved the piano! Kitty went nuts for it so I got him the 12 pack so when they disappear, we have more. He loves these and the price was right. A good add on when you need a couple of bucks to reach the $25.00 for free shipping quota!

The first ball used, split open at the seam after the first wack of the golf club by an eight-year-old child - hardly a mega smash by a strong adult. The product should be identified with country of origin - China, or carry a warning: Only for use in short-range putting... tap don't hit.

They dent very easily, with a powerful swing it only takes a few hits, not easy to undent... would only suggest if you don't have a hard swing

I really use these plastic Wiffle balls for playing Wiffleball - you know, with a Wiffle bat. It's way more challenging than using the bigger Wiffle ball. My favorite Wiffleball activity is Home Run Derby.

As far as how good they are for practicing your golf swing, they break way too frequently, though they are fairly durable.

These Wiffle balls are highly recommended. When playing Wiffleball, they will carry pretty well, especially when the wind is blowing out. Have fun with them. Get the most out of them.

I have 2 small dogs (17 lbs each) and they adore chasing after these balls inside the house. If you have hard floors (not carpet) and a small dog, or 2, or more .. give this a try for indoor exercise. The balls bounce and clack off the floor and the dogs go nuts trying to catch them mid-flight or bat them with their paws as they bounce off walls, furniture etc.

I do a supervised play session since if I leave them alone with the balls, they will chew them into an unrecognizable shape which no longer bounces. That is why the 4 star .. I need someone to make these specifically as dog toys, and just a bit harder so they can't be chewed out of shape. But the size is perfect for smaller dogs and the holes allow them to easily pick them up.

Recommended for small dog playtime although I know that is not their primary use!
