Anyone who comes in contact with patients in today's medical office needs to understand the flow of information. This product nicely presents the key concepts you need to work in the modern medical practice.

The product I ordered did not include an access code for internet software. However, it was not the fault of the seller. Somehow the cellophane wrap had come off and the code obviously fell out of the book. The speed of sevice and the condition of the book inself was excellent.

If you are taking a course that has you work from this book drop it and find another. It will only prove to be a frustration.

This is horribly written. I have to use it for a medical coding and billing course and it has proven to be nothing but frustration. The author can not write things remotely clearly. The questions guide you to the section where the answers are but then the section doesn't answer that question. The information is very fragmented and does not follow the topic. An example is one question that asks you the difference between a EMR and EHR. The section that guides you to these just explains what an EMR is and barely references EHR.
